Some of the common reasons for procrastinating is not enjoying the task at hand, being disorderly, or being flabbergasted by the size and impact of the task, or fearful of getting success. Often being a perfectionist may be the main reason for procrastination, including poor decision-making ability too.

Committing Oneself To The Task

Rewarding Self

Simply putting it is important to self-reward for a job or task well accomplished, and it is the greatest and simplest way to self-motivate to get difficult tasks completed. These rewards don't have to be enormous. For example, if someone has long wanting to see a specific movie or buy something, decide that when the assigned job is completed it becomes a form of self-award that the movie can be watched and gift bought.

One may use smaller rewards. For instance, you could tell self that if the task is completed, one will spend 60 minutes playing one’s desired game.
